Meet Celia
“Play a piece of music, and I want to move.”
Born in the United Kingdom, my early ballet training was with the Madeleine Sharp School of Dancing. In 1974, I performed with Madeleine Sharp’s school in front of Queen Elizabeth II at the opening of The Royal Academy of Dance headquarters in Battersea. I received an RAD Scholarship and completed my training at The Royal Ballet School in London. I then danced professionally in both the UK and Europe.
Since retiring from the stage, my career branched out into the Health and Fitness arena. In addition to my adult ballet teaching, I am a Silver Swans® Licensee as well as a Certified Professional in Personal Training, Animal Flow and Group Fitness Training. I gain great enjoyment from sharing my love of ballet and seeing others living their ballet dreams.
